Beginners, children, and musicians interested in learning the sitar or learning Indian Classical music on their own instruments are welcome.

- Acquire a firm grounding in the theory and structure of North Indian Classical Raga and Tal (rhythm)
- Develop proper form and technique
- Learn the care, handling and maintenance of the sitar
- Support in selection or evaluation of an instrument

Individualized lessons held in Berkeley, near Downtown Berkeley Bart.

Sitars may be available for rent or use without cost during the lesson.

$50.00 per hour (Some kind of work exchange may be possible for very serious musicians)
